Who are Megamouse?

 

Megamouse was set up as a limited Company in 2024 as a free National support platform which offers high growth SMEs trading under five years advice and guidance on everything from business planning, seeking finance and working capital, signposting regional networking events, workshops and seminars and providing ongoing support throughout the critical first five years of their business. 

 

Why do we provide this service?

 

Unlike B2C services which encompasses numerous guidelines and legislation which protects the consumer, B2B has very little protection for the customer. We hear hundreds of cases where the customer has been financially exploited by unscrupulous businesses and unfortunately there is very little protection if any afforded to the customer who made an ill-informed decision costing their business an unnecessary financial loss. The prevailing attitude in business is to dismiss a poor business decision as 'dog eat dog' and move on.

 

We disagree.

 

We believe that it takes tremendous courage and risk to set up a business from scratch and anyone who makes such a life changing decision deserves every opportunity to succeed and thrive. We believe by providing a free, impartial and experienced advice and support service we can hopefully offer an integral solution to assisting any young business a chance to grow and achieve. 

 

We know what it's like to lose a business due to poor purchasing decisions. We have been there ourselves. Many years ago our founder was a young ambitious entrepreneur who lost his business due to naivety in the marketplace, losing thousands on unprofessional web designers, poor accountants, unscrupulous business insurance services and was locked into a very expensive and unnecessary telecoms contract he didn't even need. His overheads were far exceeding his turnover and finally the bubble burst. It was a costly and painful experience. 

 

This experience formed the genesis for Megamouse. And at Megamouse we believe that prevention is better than the cure. 

 

By providing a national, comprehensive and free business advice service available at the startups inception our aim is to keep more businesses in business.

 

This is and will always remain our primary goal.
