Jon and Trevor opened Cambridge Telecom over 20 years ago with the simple idea that if they provided great on-going service and ensured that their customers always had access to the correct products and at the best prices then no-one would ever leave.
Over the years, the telecoms industry has changed considerably and many new products have come to market but the basic idea of looking after customers first and always has continued. Cambridge Telecom is not tied to any particular provider and, over the years, has built firm relationships with many of the country’s largest telecoms and IT providers, including all 4 mobile networks, Microsoft, Daisy, Giacom, RingCentral, BT, and 8x8, and all of the major broadband providers which enables us to offer our customers the best solutions for their requirements.
As Jon Anderton, our Managing Director, explains: “One of the interesting byproducts of properly looking after our customers is that, in many cases, we’ve started working with fledgling businesses which have developed, expanded, and become big players in their respective fields. We’ve been able to match our products with their requirements at all stages, and able to offer relevant improvements throughout their growth. Having none of our customers leave saves us a fortune on marketing and having long-term relationships is far more interesting for us. We are always proud to say that our very first customers are still our clients today.”
